Well, I suppose it is never too late to take a sketch and see what you can do with it - which is a good thing because here is last week's SFYTT!!
So, I am glad that once upon a time - someone said "better late than never"!
There seems to be a lot going on here in this card - but all of it comes together fairly nicely. Listen to me - all bragging it up!
The base is Memory Box Meadow and I stamped it with the Sophisticated Swirl backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms.
Well, I absolutely love this stinkin' designer paper - even though I don't know what it is! I know it comes from Wal-Mart and can you believe that I haven't been back there to check it out and see what it is!! It comes in a pack and of course - the beautiful turquoise colour jumped out at me and I threw it in the cart, pronto!!
The Tilda image came to me from Maria, who sent me the pay-it-forward package - which I hope there is no time limit on because I have yet to get around to that.......where does MY time go??!
I coloured her with copics and made a grand attempt at shading her dress! I added stickles to the cookies - because these are actually sugar cookies (with spice) - "I'm surprised you didn't know that" - sorry - I've been watching "Tommy Boy" again - David Spade and Chris Farley floor me!!
Anywhooooo, the tag was cut from a Cuttlebug tiny tag die and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Favor it Baby, stamped on Papertrey Ink lemon tart cardstock. The image and that designer paper is also layered on Lemon Tart cardstock.
I added a DCWV Chipboard glitter butterfly and added one of those crazy flower eyelets to the top of the butterfly, thanks to this tip from Kim Hughes! and then I adhered a prettier than ever pearl, right on top!
I divided up the two pieces of patterned paper (that I know nothing about) with some beautiful May Arts ribbon, that I got from the Pickle, in those gawd forsaken jars that are sitting right at the cash register!!
Kelly says "Will that be all?" and I say "Wellllll - maybe just a teeny bit of ribbon" - and game over. bah.
Don't forget to enter for "Just Bee-cause" blog candy- down two posts!! I am drawing on Thursday night!! Woohoo!!
