WT186, To a Survivor

Today's Ways to Use It challenge is to use a quote! Simple and so inspiring! That gallery has so many beautiful quotes!

I am using a quote from a new set being released on Saturday from Little Paper Shop, and I am sending this card to my mom.

It reads, "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to white lies within us".

You will notice that my blog has gone Pink! and as you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, but you may not know that my mom is a Survivor.

I have told this story before, but I am astounded by it and I love it so I will tell you again.

The DAY AFTER my mom had her breast removed, I went up to their home to try to help out in any way I could. I ran up the sidewalk and opened the
door and there stood my mom.

"Will you come in for a cup of tea?" she asked. I just stared at her. "Mom.....I am supposed to be making YOU tea......."

"No" she said. "I am making the tea!"

Anyway, that is my mom, strong in mind, spirit and body and I love her with all my heart.
