I'm Sick I tell ya!

Really, I am obsessed with this stamp set by Papertrey Ink
Tea for Two to the point of a sickness. That is basically all I have been stamping with since I got it......I LUV it!!

Here is a little set with a card and a tea box that I put together this weekend for the inspiration challenge. I was inspired by this dress because of the gorgeous greens and oranges and browns.

Those prom dresses were divine and took me waaaaay back to the day when my boyfriend took me to the prom, got beat up, together with my brother and his brother, and ended up in the hospital emergency.

Those were the days when the police would pat you on the back and say "you boys go on home now and think about what you did" ! Good times and kind of
funny now, but not then. And needless to say, the last prom I ever went to! (Totally not our guys' fault....honest, it wasn't!!) Oh yeh, I ended up marrying that guy and we have been married almost 30 years!

Okay, down to business!

The Mandarin Orange Tea box is certainly not decorated but still looks gorgeous with that beautiful striped ribbon around it.
That ribbon is from Sharon Johnson and she has started selling her own ribbon, (look for the tab at the top of her blog) beautiful wide ribbon and gorgeous small ribbon and amazing silk ribbon and all sorts of lovely ribbon....another sickness....ooooo it's bad!!!

I stamped the teapot onto Vintage Cream cardstock and cut it out and popped it up onto the background paper I made.

I just stamped one of the stamps from this set over and over onto Summer Sunrise cardstock with Summer Sunrise ink.

The Dark Chocolate swirls and the sentiment are from the 2008 Anniversary set Everyday Classics.

I punched a border with the Martha Stewart Cornice paper punch and swiped at the edges of everything with Ranger Vintage photo ink to give it a distressed look.

Thanks for coming around and listening to me reminisce!
