Little Paper Shop's howling challenge!

It's Little Paper Shop Monday and this week we have another colour challenge, which naturally I don't have all the proper colours which could be construed as a good thing, because then I can cheat a bit and not really be called a cheater!! KWIM?!

Since I didn't have Bordering Blue I used Papertrey Ink's Enchanted Evening which is a deeper shade of blue, but still works out fine.....oh yeh.......

I started by stamping two of the sentiments from {Make a Wish} onto Rustic Cream cardstock. I followed up by stamping two of the flowers from {Endless Arrangements} on top of the sentiments.

Then I cut a panel of that designer paper and bordered it with Kiwi Kiss leaving a scalloped border.

I used Lisa Johnson's tip from her blog about using one of the threads from saddle stitch ribbon as a basting stitch. I pulled on the thread and made a ruffle and attached it to the bottom of the panel.

I stamped the sentiment from {Make a Wish}, added a button and it was done! This would be a quick and easy card when I do it again - although it seemed to take forever at the time!

Shorter than usual post today, sorry about that. The coyotes were howling at 5:00 AM and that set the dogs off wildly running around the house howling at the top of their silly lungs!!

I got up to bring Rosie the Schnauzer in to our bedroom (she's my dog and she always like to copy Ron's dog - who was the one howling - true story)
and when I picked her up, my back went out......not outside.....just out of whack....dang thing.......so I need to go and call the chiropractor...... and then put the heating pad on it......or is it the ice pack.....I can never remember!
