You Make Me Hoppy!........CPS148

I'm still on Valentine cards - they are just such a happy creation to put together!! I used Papertrey Ink's new set Tiny Treats and followed the sketch at Card Positioning Systems this week.

I think I am just squeezing in this card for that challenge so it will be a short post!

I was over at my daughter's house this morning for a wonderful coffee with some sort of Caramilk shooter in it - too lovely I must say - usually reserved for Christmas, but we were celebrating the fact that we got some time together to stamp!

I sanded all the edges of my designer paper, Basic Grey Sugar Rush, just to get a bit more white on this card - the center image is pretty stark.

The twine is all Nichole Heady's fault! In her last newsletter she talked about different ways of adding texture, and tying twine was one of those mentioned. I kind of like the effect and the fact that I actually had green twine was a plus, although a natural colour would have worked just as well!

I also added a couple of different sized clear Zva Creative Crystals (coloured with R59 copic marker) on my image and on the button, just to draw all the little reds together - my way of being organized lol!

Stamps: Tiny Treats (Papertrey Ink)
Paper: Chocolate Chip (Stamping UP!); Sugar Rush (Basic Grey); white (Papertrey Ink)

Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Accessories: Zva Creative Crystals, twine, button from Walmart, EK Success Scalloped curve punch
