I decided to try this week's Papertrey Ink Make it Monday challenge by Laura Bassen - she is dang funny, I might add, and a delight to listen to.
It is Double Partial die-cutting - and it took a bit of tongue chawing for me to achieve this card - but I think it turned out rather pretty.
Sorry about the shadows - it was early morning when I photographed.
I pretty much copied the same way that Laura created her card - with her beautiful sponging background and all (my wrists are sore now yiiiee)
Following the video directions, I die cut the word blessed, from the Counting My Blessings Die Collection- all but the bottom of the die to create the single die cut, and then die cut again, using the Mega Mat Stack 5 Die.
I sponged my white cardstock base using Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores and Limeade Ice inks. I popped up my card front and added some flowers and bling!
Oh why not try it - it's only paper!!
Gorgeous, Bonnie! I love the colors you sponged behind your word 😊
ReplyDeleteWhat a bright and happy card! Beautiful technique and background too!
