Sending Love.....

Good morning!! and before my post today, I would like to tell you to please make sure that you make your way over to Anya and Lynn's blog, and of course Claire's for their previews of Waltzingmouse Stamps new sets being released on March 1st!! (after you read my post of course!)

This is my last post for Humble Pie stamps and I have thoroughly enjoyed being their guest designer for the month of February! Their stamps are made of deeply etched rubber and the little images have the sweetest expressions on their faces. The team is awesome and have great challenges every week!! Check them out won't you!

The challenge this week was to make an easel card. I have never made one so it really WAS a challenge for me. I found my tutorial from Splitcoaststampers but the Humble Pie blog also has a tutorial right here!

Check it out to find out how you can win some free stamps!!

Humble Pie Challenge Day!

Good morning! It's time for another Humble Pie Stamps challenge! If you remember I mentioned last week that I was asked to be the Humble Pie Stamps guest designer for a month - so exciting and boy they wonderfully cute stamps!!
Humble Pie Stamps are sold exclusively at the Town Scrapper, so contact Phebe - all that information on the website!
This week's challenge is all about embellishments, or rather just ONE embellishment! - aye-yi-yiiii - said I! We were only to use one type of embellishment.....eeek!

I decided to go with ribbon and tied my ribbon across the middle of the card.

I have inked up "Dusty" a Humble Pie stamp, with Memento Black Ink and coloured him with my copics.

I love the Basic Grey June Bug paper, and I decided to make a few big "brads" for a bit more decoration, with paper of course, since I could not use another embellishment!

I wasn't sure if the tag was considered an embellishment so I snuck it in anyway. So far. So good.

If you would like to enter this challenge, head over the the Humble Pie Stamps blog and read all about it!

Angel Maggie!

Good morning and welcome to a Humble Pie new release!

Yesterday, Humble Pie Stamps released Angel Maggie!! a sweet little angel stamp that you will love to use!

I stamped her onto some Melissa Frances scrap paper that I had and then gave her some shadowing with a copic marker. Isn't she a cutie??

I sponged up some delightful clouds behind her with a homemade cloud template and some Spring Rain ink!

The inside sentiment is from Verve and I thought it went perfectly with Angel Maggie!

The rest of my designer paper is from Basic Grey's Porcelain 6 x 6 paper pack!

Check out what the rest of the design team has done with Angel Maggie on the Humble Pie stamps blog!!

Just an extra bit of news today! Please stop by the Little Paper Shop blog today to see the stamp set, Garden Gate, that we are featuring this week. We could all use a little extra inspiration and eye candy, right?

AND did you participate in the Waltzingmouse Blog hop yet? There are two stamp sets from the new release up for grabs ! You have until Sunday night 2/7 at 11:59 pm EST to leave your comments - check it out here!!

Humble Pie Showcase Day!

Good Monday morning and welcome to my second post of the day - please scroll UP to see the Little Paper Shop sketch challenge this week - thank you!!

Today we are showcasing the other stamp lines that The Townscrapper carries - give Phebe a call -Her store is located in Petrolia, Ontario Canada,  and she is working on getting her online stor up and going - but until then, give her a call or email her - has the best prices going!

This stamp is from My Favorite Things (which Phebe carries) and is called  Who's That Chocoholic? - LOL! This could so easily be me, trying to curb my chocolate cravings and not quite meeting that goal!! It's a tough road....lol!

I used My Mind's Eye Beloved papers which Phebe also carries and sanded the edges to give it a bit of depth. I added some white gel pen to each chocolate just to make them look even more delicious than they already are.....

I framed up the image with the Spellbinders Labels Nine and tied a bow across the top - I love this card - it turned out not too shabby if I say so myself - yes I'm patting myself on the back with this one lol!

Give Phebe a call or an e-mail at info@townscrapper.com as she carried all the product I have talked about today - My Favorite Things stamps, Spellbinders, My Mind's Eye Papers - all at fabulous prices!!

Take a look on the Humble Pie Stamp blog to see what the other design team members have cooked up with stamps that The Town Scrapper sells!

Humble Pie Stamps are sold exclusively at the Town Scrapper, so contact Phebe - all that information is at the end of this post!

This week's challenge is all about flowers! - five or more to be exact - okay exact not the right word for five or more - but you get my meaning right?

Just use five or more flowers on your creation, post a picture of it onto your blog and leave your link on the Humble Pie Stamps blog!!

I decided to ink up this little cutie who is looking so sad! I used designer paper from Basic Grey Origins in the 6 x 6  paper pack and a LOT of Prima flowers!!

I cut out the sentiment with my circle nestabilities and added a bit of bling - LOVE bling! Those items, along with this cute stamp are all available at the Town Scrapper!!

You can see that I added some Diamond Glaze to the umbrella and the boots - I LOVe shiny boots!

Humble Pie Challenge Day!

ETA: I forgot to mention that if you enter the hearts challenge this week on the Humble Pie Blog you could win this stamp that I have used today called "Maggie in Love"!! Isn't she a sweetie??!! (The challenge isn't up quite yet-I was so excited that I kind of jumped the gun in posting heehee!! It should be up by 10:00 am Eastern.)

Good Friday morning! I LOVE Fridays!! and particularly today as I get to tell you my little secret!

I have been asked by Humble Pie Stamps to be their guest designer for the next month! Humble Pie Stamps are sold exclusively at the Town Scrapper, so contact Phebe - all that information is at the end of this post!

Right now everything in Phebe's store is Buy 1, get the 2nd item (equal value or less) for 50% off until February 14!! How can you pass that up??!!

Phebe is working hard to get her on-line store up and running but until then she always accepts orders over the phone and she has a ton of stuff, including the following line of stamps: Magnolia, My Favourite Things, Motivet, Humble Pie, High Hopes, Scrapmagasinet, Hanna Stamps, Whiff of Joy, CC Designs, The Greeting Farm, Kraftin' Kimmie, and Wags 'n Whiskers! I KNOW!!

I was in at the Town Scrapper the other day (oh yes, you're jealous!) and I couldn't believe all the different lines of stamps she now carries!! I'm so excited to be working with Phebe and her team this month!

So our challenge at Humble Pie stamps this week is to use the colours Red, White and Pink AND your card needs to feature hearts!

My card uses the brand new Humble Pie "Maggie in Love" stamp and I've used Little Yellow Bicycle papers to paper piece her little jacket and the heart.

I also used some Diamond Glaze on her boots (although you can't tell dang it) so that they were shiny!

I coloured this image with my copics, choosing to colour the little girls in the reds and the little boy in the grays - I mean isn't it really all about the girls??! LOL!

Check out all the information about this challenge at Humble Pie Stamps where you can see the links for the rest of the design team AND their fabulous creations!!

Don't forget, this stamp is only sold at the Town Scrapper so contact Phebe at info@townscrapper.com or by phone at 519-882-0623.
