Merry Christmas!

Just a quick post to wish all of you a Merry Christmas!

I'm going to throw this into The Pink Elephant Challenge - it's all about Christmas and the beauty of the season. This is the inspirational photo that they have chosen - and it is gorgeous!

I used the Papertrey Ink Cuppa Love Dies along with one of the little freebies that Papertrey Ink added to my last package they sent to me ;)

The woodgrain border is actually the ski stamp from Two Feet Deep- stamped twice with pure poppy ink.  Since the "mug" covers up the bindings of the skis, I wasn't worried about using them.

I added a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins to finish it off - along with a glittery button that I actually FOUND in a box I had…..love that!

Pink Elephant Challenge

Hello - I found a new challenge blog - well new to me anyway....The Pink Elephant!  The inspiration photo is a beauty - and I was totally inspired - which is how it goes!

Soooo, I brought out my Cutting Garden stamp set and dies and created a sympathy card - which is needed lately....not good....

I stamped and die cut my little heart out - using Harvest Gold and Simply Chartruese ink. The cardstock is also Harvest Gold.  A little schmitchen of patterned paper as a border sets the whole thing up beautifully!

I have a heck of a time getting a great photo when the layout is an A2 size card with the fold at the side - not sure what is up with my eyes when I try that - but never very good - dang it.....

Thanks for popping in!
