Limited Challenge - Be Happy and some Exciting News!!

The Friday challenge on Splitcoast Stampers is a limited supply challenge!

Today is a fabulous way to be limited lol! We can only make a happy card---- a card to make someone laugh or smile! You probably won't laugh at my card - it's not that bad, but it may make you smile!

Well what could be more happy than candy and flowers woohoo!

These fun images are from Sunshine Designs and I have had them coloured forever! I just plunked them on a card with some Prima flowers and Stamping Bella baubles and voila!!

The patterned paper is from Daisy D's 8 x 8 pack Maybe Baby.

The sentiment is from Pink Cat Studio in their Sweet Treat division....!

Today is the first day of the Embellish-It Scrapbooking Friday Challenges woohoo!!

Every Friday a different designer will be hosting a Friday Challenge on our forum.

"Today's Friday Free For All Challenge is our very first challenge for the 2008-2009 Design Team!!

To celebrate we are going to make the challenge winner our very first Guest Designer for September! That means you get the same goodies as the Design Team!

You will need to make four cards with your goodies that will be published in the Design Team Gallery.

Want to play? Here is what you need to do:

Make a new card for the challenge that plays along with the challenge rules.

Upload your card to the gallery using keyword FC1. You will need to be a forum member to do this - registration is free and easy.

Judging will be based on how well you followed the challenge, creativity and execution.

You may enter as many cards, layouts or projects as you wish.

The winner will be announced here next Friday August 8!"

Sunshine Butterfly!

This pretty little butterfly is from Sunshine Designs!

It was one of their cubes that also has three other butterflies. Marcie had it and I was able to stamp it when I was babysitting Jake!

We are so darn lucky we are able to do that!

Sunshine Designs offer their stamps singularly on cling mount along with their well known cubes!
They have idea sheets also so that you can figure out how to colour them if you like.

I didn't have a butterfly sheet so I had to "wing" it - get it?? WING it!! LOL!

I used Memory Box patterned paper called Aerial and the mango and jade cardstock is also Memory Box. Both are from Ellen Hutson's store.

edited: the orangy cardstock is canteloupe, not mango.....

I coloured the butterfly with copics and did some highlights on it with my Sakura colour glitter pens - this picture shows the pretty glitter!! You can click on it to get a better look!


The sentiment is Curvy Verses from Stamping UP! and the flowers are prima with a glittery brad in the middle!
