Sweet Stamps Tuesday - Dad!

Well, apparently Blogger threw me for a loop this week - my SweetStamps post didn't come alive at midnight as it should have, AND when I checked it to see - it was gone, disappeared, vamoosh!!  The joys of technology!

This week we are celebrating all things "Dad"!

I used the sweet stamp Lyle - such a grumpy looking man - but then with a bee on your nose AND carrying a box of glass - I might be grumpy too lol

I tried to cheer him up by making a little bag with a gift card from Tim Horton's - the Canadian version of Dunkin' Donuts - a delicious coffee and donut shop!

I love the SweetCuts Die called Elegant Leaves - I decided to decorate my little bag with it, plus the tree on the card!

Sweet Stamps Tuesday - Flowers!

Another fun challenge for you this week - use your FLOWERS anyway you would like, for the Sweet Stamps Tuesday challenge!

I have really loved being out in my garden -  so I decided to use this floral stamp - Curved Flower Bunch!

Unfortunately, it seems that sooner or later we always need a sympathy card or two, so I used the "With Sympathy" sentiment to accompany my creation. 

I stamped the image and coloured it using my copics markers and since I had already picked my papers, I decided to go with the complimentary colour of orange.

I stamped the image again, and coloured up a few of the flowers, cut them out and popped them up onto the original image to add some depth. 

Using our new Sweetcuts Dies, I diecut the Elegant Leaves SweetCuts Die twice, gave them a bit of dimension with my copic markers and then positioned them under the Curved Flower Bunch.

For my corner embellishment, I used the Flourish Medallion SweetCut Die, and then trimmed it down using my scissors to make a little corner sweety!!

I added a few gems in the middle of the flowers for my everluvin' bling!!

The patterned paper I used is the gorgeous "On Trend" by Crate Paper 6 x 6 paper pack. 

Sweet Stamps Tuesday...Anything Goes!

What a fun challenge we have for you this week - use your artistic freedom anyway you would like, for the Sweet Stamps Tuesday challenge!

Since I have been out in my garden this week, I decided to use a flower stamp - and do I ever LOVE this stamp called Watercan Florals!

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured it with my copic markers - did you know that Sweet Stamps sells Copic Markers??!!  I  wish my budget wasn't so tight, I would sure scoop up some of those sweeties!

 I coloured some grass surrounding the can too....the paper is from Doodlebug Take Note 6 x 6 Paper Pack  I see that we are sold out of this particular paper right now but there are lots of 6 x 6 paper packs to choose from at the store!!

The inside of the card was stamped with the sentiment "A Bouquet of Good Wishes" - I love it!

Sweet Stamps Tuesday!

Good day and what  a difference a week makes - it is so cold here - but in comparison to winter - not so bad - just having a cooler spring I guess - much better for the flowers.....

I am watching the Toronto Maple leafs and Boston Bruins Game 7 and am having anxiety attacks Lol!   

Anyway on to our weekly challeng! 

This week is all about Spring! I have chosen to use the Bee Happy Duo for our challenge!

I coloured up the happy little guy with my copics markers and can you see the glitter on the wings??! So pretty - You can find it in the store - it is the Sparkly Sweet Ultrafine Transparent Glitter

The Spotty Dot border was used along the top of my card - so cute! I cut out and popped up the sweet little Bee to add dimension! 

The delicate Die Cut leaves were cut using my Vagabond - my most forever lovey dovey machine to date!!

Did you know that Sweet Stamps carry their own line of Dies now??!! Wahoo!! They are called SweetCuts - and too sweet!

Sweet Stamps Tuesday!

Good Morning and what a day we have today in Southern Ontario- Sunny - Warm - Gorgeous!

I am excited to announce that I am now a part of the Sweet Stamps Design Team and today, Tuesday, is our weekly challenge!

This week it is all about Mom - being as Mother's Day is next Sunday - are you ready?

I used the beautiful silhouette stamp called "In Her Easter Bonnet"  and stamped her in our Dye Ink Shades Ink Spots - In The Pink - beautiful coverage! onto white cardstock.

I added a few gems to the back of her bow - basically because I love bling! and it looks rather nice too!

The background paper is from the beautiful 6 x 6 pad that we carry in our store called Vintage Notes from Papermania. It has a gorgeous linen feel.....yummy!

The Thickers are actually white sparkly letters....but for some reason the colour is coming out rather bleh.....
