Birds of a Feather and Tagged again.....oh my.....

Blog Candy a few posts down......I'm drawing tonight for a Little Paper Shop "Just Bee-Cause" stamp set!! You will love it!!

Well, because of this nutty computer, I had a too much trouble getting onto the Papertrey Blog Hop last night but I will post my card anyway!

Transparencies were the order of the night, and I had just received my pack of transparencies from Cornish Heritage Farms so I was in!!

This did not start out as a 4 x 4 card, but it seems to be the only way to get the effect I wanted! So 4 x 4 it was!

I used Papertrey Ink's aquamist cardstock as my card base and glued a piece of 4 x 4 Everyday Blessings designer paper on top.

I cut a piece of 4 x 4 transparency and stamped it in black Staz-on with Birds of a Feather hummingbirds.

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Everyday Blessings stamp set.

After adhering the transparency to the front, I tied a bit of May Arts swiss dot ribbon around the edge to hide the little (kind of) transparent glue dots.

Very simple and pretty!

I wish I could have got on the blog hop, but I think I will still add my post to the forum! ugh - computers - can ya tell I am a little peeved???!!

My SBS2 sister, Becky has tagged me!! I think this is a new one to me so here it goes!!

The "rules" of the game:

Answer the 5 questions listed below about yourself. At the end of the post, tag 5-6 people by posting their names, then go to their blogs and leave them a comment letting them know they’ve been tagged and also ask them to read your blog for the rules.

Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answers.

Question 1:
Ten years ago:

We were living in our beautiful old farm house! Little did we know that in two months it would have burned to the ground.....yuck. Marcie was in Japan with a singing group, Holly was in Grade 10 and Andy was getting ready to graduate grade 8. My oh my!! Good times - (except for the house part.....)

Question 2:
Five things in today's 'to do list':

1. Take Andy to get out his wisdom teeth.

2. Clean office so computer fix it guy can wade through.

3. Upload information to Embellish-It Online design team info

4. Fix supper - but not for Andy!.

5. Pay some bills - when computer fixed.

Question 3:
Snacks I enjoy:

Chips, licorice allsorts

Question 4:
Things I would do if I was a millionaire:

Have a live in computer fix it guy
Hire an organizer person for my scrap room
Donate to my church (should do that first)

Question 5:
Places I have lived:

1. Woodstock, Ontario
2. Shetland, Ontario
3. London, Ontario
4. Chatham, Ontario

That is about it........ I don't have a very slam dunk exciting life compared to some, but that is the way I like it!!

The rules say I have to pick five, so if 5 people are reading this - you are tagged!!

  1. Sorry you couldn't get your computer working last night---don't you just HATE that? Your card is beautiful! I made a 4 x 4, too, but mainly because I measured wrong and kept having to cut my transparency up---then I realized it was my last one, so I didn't have a choice but to use that one--OK, I've rambled far too much!!! Love your card!
