Peace

The set we are showcasing today was inspired by our very own Elyssa!

She asked Julia if she could make up a set containing the theme Go Green and Peace and suggested most of the sentiments. I had fun working with this set! It really takes me back- LOL!

I wanted to use bright colours for this stamp set as that was all the rage back then - believe me I remember!! I used to have a neckerchief (is that what they were called?!) that was almost exactly like this paper!

We used to tie them around our neck for various reasons ;)!

For the base of my card I used Lemon Tart from Papertrey Ink. I trimmed and glued some designer paper from my Nana's Nursery 4 x 6 pack along with some co-ordinations cardstock together and added it to the Lemon Tart!

I stamped the peace sign in Summer Sunrise ink and cut it out with my circle nestabilities.

I just layered it onto various bigger circles and popped it onto the card.

I was able to stamp the sentiment in Brilliance Black onto the blue portion of the card and it was done!! Such a quick, quick card!! - well, after I figured it out!

Sometimes a card takes soooo long to make and then, when it is finished, you look at it and say - "What an easy card!!" It's all very silly sometimes!!

Please check out the other girl's blogs to see what cool things they have cooked up for you today!!
