Twinkling Tuesday Sketch Challenge!

Wahoo! Today is the day that I get to post Madelynn's sketch! and if you would like to play along, please do!!

I took the liberty of turning the sketch sideways, because of this Stamping Bella image.

This card took me all weekend - in between the card kit and the Scripture Challenge, it kept being shoved aside! But here it is in all it's glory!

I love this stamp from Stamping Bella!


It is called High Tops and it reminds me so much of the running shoes my older brother used to wear in school - although his were black high tops and they stunk to hiiighhhhhh heaven..... oooooweeeeeeiiii!!

I am sure my mom would agree with that!

I finally pulled out my Stamping UP paper which is the Manchester Designer Series Paper, and is perfect for a masculine card!

And I know that there is so much white space.....I have a hard time putting any type of embellishment onto a masculine looking card.

I have had this huge Memories brad laying around in my stash, for some time, that I finally was able to put to use today with this card - perfect for the memories that I have of my brother.

I coloured the image with my copics and that is about it! Except for the sewing. I wanted some stitching in the card being as the shoes had some stitching too.

Off to Sarnia today with Holly as she has Math class on Tuesday's. This is an ongoing class that she will be able to take until she is 102 or sick of it, whichever comes first!! Haha!
