Merry Christmas!

Well, this is surely late but from the bottom of my  heart, I wish you a Merry Christmas!

We hosted Christmas this year for Ron's family - 32 people at first, then it was trimmed down to that was a first for us!

But everything went wonderfully and the gift exchanges are always so fun with people stealing each others gifts - it went on for along time - just long enough for us to be able to sneak away to the kitchen and prepare our meal while the others played!

Everyone brings a dish or two, so all we had to do the turkey, mashed potatoes, a vegetable and a dessert - yummy and awesome and I am so glad I don't have to do it for another 4 years Lol!

Here is another Christmas card that was made this season and not posted. I used The Scrapmaster's Paradise Bold Sentiment II Holidays, and I had a few little note stickers from October Afternoon's Very Merry sticker sheet that I used with the sentiment! Perfect!

I hope to be back tomorrow or the next day.....celebrations are still ongoing!

Merry Fishmas!

Wow! I really was bringing this down to the wire with this card! I love to play in The Cat's Pajamas challenges every yesterday morning I discovered that I was a bit behind and put together this little doo-hickey!

I was thrilled to received my new stamps on Friday, and this little penguin (as are all the little penguin's) is not too much to colour - so double yay!

The challenge was to use one of The Cat's Pajamas images to make a Christmas card and the CutUps die they were pairing it with was the BIG Scallop! I don't own the Big Scallop so I used my EK Success bracket punch.

I also used my new Anywhere Ribbon Slide CutUp - so fun!

I did a bit of sewing, added a button with twine and presto! done!

Now I am off to find out what the new challenge is for this week! -

Cold Hands, Warm Heart

Today's card has another sentiment from Scrapmaster's Paradise's Big Sentiment II Holidays - love this set and I have gotten a lot of use from it this year!

I am hosting Christmas this year for my hubby's family - I thought there were 27 of us but someone told me last night to count again!! and there are 32 so what are 5 more?  yikes!!

I am also adding this in the

Come All Ye Faithful...

Good Day, I am sitting here eating ketchup potato chips and trying not to get crumbs on/in my keyboard....and since it is the bottom of the bag - I'm not having much luck hehe!

It's a celebration of sorts for me because.....drumroll.....brrrrrrrrrrr..... I am now a Design Team Member for Scrapmaster's Paradise!!!!

Scrapmaster's Paradise is an online store that has their own line of fabulous stamps and also carries other scrap and stamp supplies!!

There are also a 3 Kits of the Month Club that are available - go to this link and scroll to the bottom to see the explanation of the kits that include ECHO PARK designer paper!!!

Now, onto my project!

This month's Scrapmaster's Paradise Release Blog Hop colour is GREEN!! That is - that you need to make a creation with your primary colour being green - think pine green!! Naturally I was a rebel, (plus I had nothing that seemed like pine green).

I have a beautiful small pad of K & Company's Julianne patterned paper and it is full of green's and blue's so I used one of those papers for my designer paper and zig zagged it onto my card base.

My angel die cut was adhered to a panel of Kraft cardstock that was run through a Crafts Too embossing folder.

The sentiment is from Scrapmaster's Paradise Bold Sentiments II Holidays - one sentiment stamp set which I have used all through this season!!

Happy Holidays!

Good day and welcome to another Scrapmaster's Paradise Colour Challenge (SPCC).  Colour challenges used to be my bane but lately I think I have done a rather good job at them (listen to me ramble....)

This is this week's Colour Combo:

I chose to do another CAS card - Clean And Simple - and so I did - however.....I did some rather wonky stitching and it turned out a bit wonkier than I would have liked - d'oh......Smiley from

I used Echo Park's Times & Seasons for my patterned paper and Scrapmaster's Paradise Bold Sentiments II Holidays for my sentiment, and stamped it in Scarlett Jewel.

The mittens are a die cut using Spellbinders Mittens die......and it embosses too - very clever!!

I really need to google how to sew corners.....booo!

We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

Use it Tuesday is a blog that challenges you to use your stash! woohoo! That is something I need to do desperately!

So this week the theme is Holiday! - whatever Holiday means to you! Well lately it has been Christmas of course - yay - right up my alley!
I found this beautiful sticker, a couple of weeks ago and have been waiting to use it on just the right project.

Actually it was stuck between two drawers and they wouldn't close right and when I went to investigate, I found a little grab bag of goodies that I won and this sticker was inside it! I think it is Making Memories - but not 100%.

It is kind of hard to tell but first I embossed a small frame with a die and then stamped one of the sentiments from Bold Sentiments II Holidays(Scrapmaster's Paradise)

I carefully placed the sticker (waaaayyy sticky) and then it was done - one of the easiest and quickest cards ever!
