Amy R's Sketch......

Okay, don't shoot me, I promise this is the last Riley the moose card!

Well, there are actually two cards - but I love him so much that I can't resist......I WILL be using him for Father's day obviously. I think he is a fabulous image!! (can ya tell!!)

This card is for Amy R's Friday sketch which you can find here.

I used Dream Street Paper's Daydreamer patterned paper in the 12 x 12 sheets and just cut them into 4 x 4 pieces so I can make 9 cards from one sheets - Great!!

I stamped Riley, that I snatched up at The Town Scrapper, and the A Muse sentiment with Brilliance graphite black ink on Papertrey Ink white and coloured in ol' Riley with copics!

The little dot stamp is from All That Scraps and is called Big Ol' Backgrounds Polka Dots.

I used my blending pen to kind of put a bit of shine on his nose, but I think all I ended up doing was making him look like maybe he had a bit too much of the whiskey in him and went for a tumble!!! LOL! Let's hope not.....but then again --- it IS his day!!

This second card is Riley again, obviously!

This time I used Basic Grey Boxer , for both the patterned papers.

Again, I used Papertrey Ink cardstock for the base and that is also that paper I stamped both the images on!! VERY versatile paper! I love it!

The sentiment is from Inkadinkado and was stamped in Stamping UP! ink Not Quite Navy, some ink that I was able to buy from Julia Stainton when she was purging and I was buying!! (which I always seem to be!! cripes!!)

Ribbon is from The Paper Pickle, because they have these HUGE glass jars at the till - like 6 of them, as big as me, I swear! full of yards and yards of ribbon and you just TRY to check out and that ribbon is staring you in the face screaming --"BUY ME!! BUY ME!! Help me get out of these HUGE glass jars at the till!!"

So I helped them......I did.

And good thing, because it really goes with this card....whew.

Look at his cute little crown!! topped off with a Stamping Bella pearl bauble!!

I love this card!!!

On second thought......

You know how you make a card and think -

"Hey, I kind of like that"

and then you go make supper and when you come back and look at it - someone has been in there and made your card not so great!?

Well, I think that happened with this card - although it is growing on me.

The premise is good......that layout is fine, it is just that RED! and a bit of wasted space, now that I look at it.....sometimes you really have to take a step back! Probably best to do that before you post it! HAhaha!

I had to borrow Marcie's paper piercer because I broke mine trying to pry my scalloped circle nestability off of my cuttlebug mat........oh boy.....try to remember to keep that cutting side up.......LOL! I didn't notice until I started piercing that HER paper piercer was snipped off at the end also - thus the big piercings.

Then I had to use my Stamping Up tag maker punch for the bottom of this card (not so bad) because I broke my corner punch....... a wee bit of an expensive day.

Edited to add: Sounds like a lot of complaining about this card - funny thing is - the more I look at it, the more I like it! Forgot to mention about paper piecing the hat and scarf! Stamped it on red cardstock, cut it out and pieced it.

AND I bought a whole boat load of other "stuff" online today, because we are going to be at another bazaar, for the school this time, in two weeks so please, please, please hopefully everything comes in time!! (Papertrey Ink, Scrapping Great Deals, Pink Cat Studio, Verve Visual - if you are reading this please put everyone else's order aside and just look after mine..... ROFL!)

Actually, if it doesn't show up in time for this bazaar, there is always next year!!

Now this card I loved right from the start because I absolutely think this is the cutest little stamp going! It is from Magenta and I bought it at the Paper Pickle, my local stamp store. Don't they just look like they are all snuggled up!?

Cuttlebugged the green cardstock with the snowflake folder (it definitely is not that bright of a green IRL) Used my corner punch on the bottom of the green paper ( I did this card before I broke my punch!) and then on the bottom of the stamped image paper.

I dug out my shimmer chalks that I haven't used in ages and just dusted the angels with them. Then I took my Krylon silver leafing pen and traced around the image-- popped it up with with some dimensionals, added some L'il Davis ribbon and brads and done.

Very easy!

I have to go and get my spot in front of the TV--Desperate Housewives is on soon and I think something happens to Lynette!!

I am sooo looking forward to the next couple of weeks when I get a whole bunch of NEW SUPPLIES!!

Kissy Kissy Christmas!!

Here I am back again already. I TOLD you I had lots to offer! Since my computer was down I had a lot of things to do because of this church bazaar Marcie and I are going to be at.

It is next Saturday the 24th and I have been worried because of course I don't have enough cards made and I don't know how we are going to do our table and I don't know what we should charge for things.....{this is me hyperventilating} ....hmmmm....settle....

Wordsworth has the greatest little stamps around. I LOVE the stick people they have!! I bought this stamp at our local stamp shop "The Paper Pickle Co."

I cuttlebugged the black cardstock for the background with the snowflake embossing folder and also cuttlebugged the bottom half of the white base. The base card paper I use is from Papertrey Ink (where they are unveiling a NEW stamp set tonight at midnight - woo hoo!!) - a fantastic cardstock - very heavy - perfect for card bases!

I glued the black cardstock on the white base and added the polka dot ribbon and a bit of silver ribbon - both from Wal-mart.

I stamped my image on white cardstock and colored it with my prismacolors and Stardust glitter pens (which I LOVE!)

Then they were mounted on black and red and popped up on the card with 3-D glue dots!! Very simple and quite cute if I do say so myself!!

Well I am heading over to Papertrey Ink for the unveiling of their new stamp set!!

Oh How I Love My Jammybella!!

Well, she is not really my Jammybella!

I put my name on the wish list at the Paper Pretties Yahoo Club, and Kristine stamped four of her and mailed the precious Jammybella to me!!

That wish list the greatest thing, it saves you buying the rubber stamp, however, I loved her so much that.......I went onto Stamping Bella and bought her (she said really fast so no one would really know what she said LOL!) Anyway, I couldn't help it and I don't care. All I have is Pompomabella and I am almost getting a little tired of using her over and over again in the challenges...... (I can hardly even say that without feeling a little sick)


I also bought the binder so I have somewhere to store my Bellas. It is so pretty with the little bling scattered all around. Well, while we are at it, I might as well confess that I bought witchybella as well.......so there.....phttthht!


So today, I was in the Paper Pickle in Chatham, Ontario - the coolest little stamp store around here, and I got some more stuff because, well, it is a stamp store and I couldn't walk out with nothing! That would be very rude.....Um, I bought grumpabella (luv her) and veggiebella (luv her too). I also got the oval scalloped paper punch, oval punch, ribbon, staz on ink (because everyone is raving about it - so I should test it *wink*) paper and maybe another stamp or two. So what!!


This pretty little Jammybella is mounted on cardstock and then on Pretty Posies from DCWV and cardstock that was run throught the Cuttlebug that I got from Scrapping Great Deals - so far the best prices around that I have found...


A little bit of yellow swiss dot ribbon from The Paper Pickle and some purple bling from Queen & Co. in the corners and done - very simple card really, but a cutie!!
