So very bee-you-tiful!

Good Sunny Morning in Ontario!  This week's Sweet Sunday Sketch was beckoning me to play - and since I really wanted to use my Reverse Confetti stamp set called The Buzz I went to work (play)

I love the big sentiment and the cute little bees, so this set was perfect for this sketch!

I decided to keep all of that white space - (although it drives me crazy!) so that I could highlight the bees and sentiment.

I stamped and coloured the cute little bee with my copic markers and then die cut him with The Buzz Confetti Cuts.  I diecut the sun from the Sun 'n Clouds Confetti Cuts and also used two of the flags from the Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts - I LOVE these dies!

I tucked the little flags in where they should go and then decided that twine and baubles would be just perfect to finish my sketch  Give that sketch a try - it's a cute one!!!

It's your baa-thday!

Sometimes you make a card that just doesn't cut it - you know what I mean?  So much of your creation just is not working, however in the interest of fair play - I figure I would post it anyway.

When I turned around to file it - my daughter had snatched it up for her friend - "Perfect!" she said - so who knows?!! lol

Paper Smooches SPARKS have a challenge up and running - due tomorrow by the way.....

Take a look at this inspirational beauty!

I used several Paper Smooches sets on my card - Eco Friendly for the sun, Party Posse for the sweet little lamb and sentiment,  Sunny Side Up for the clouds and sunglasses and Word Salad for the "hello".

I paper pieced the sun and put some cool shades on the little lamb because he's just too awesome!

A few little baubles and some twine and it was good to go- so my daughter says!

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop LATE

Good morning! I have a LATE Papertrey Ink Blog Hop post - We are pretty sure that our wi-fi has been hacked, so I am staying off of the internet to see when, where, why and whatever!

But today I really wanted to post my card, albeit late, so that you knew I hadn't fallen off of the face of the earth haha…so it's a quick post!

Papertrey Ink's inspirational photo was gorgeous - as usual - and begged for pinks and blues.

I used the new Flower Favorites stamp set and dies, along with various beautiful PTI inks.   I LOVE that Lupin with Wink of Stella!   I used Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky and Enchanted Evening inks and rocked and rolled the Lupin…..

The sentiment is from Book Club - it was perfect! and how about that teeny bumblebee - so cute!

And another photo, just because….

Thanks for indulging me today with my LATE post!

Window Portraits….

I LOVE our new place in Florida…..but OH, how I miss my grandbabies, so I put together a little photo FUN that is so easy to change up if I need to!

I am so lucky to have a hubby that really enjoys garage saling and Flea Market finds, so when he spotted this "window" for $20, he motioned to me and asked if it was something I would be interested in. Obviously I screamed and then offered the guy $10…..we settled on $15.  I had to bring it home and play with it!

Using My Favorite Things BG Patterned Triangles Background and Pigment Ink Pad Sweet Tooth, I stamped onto a pre cut Recollections Chalk Banner.

I added a bit of patterned paper to the top of the banner and then added a couple of flags ….die cut with the Dienamics Blueprints 10 and stamped with Laina Lamb's Picture This stamp set.

On a couple of the flags, I die cut the MFT Dienamics Dizzy Doily and Stitched circle STAX and added a stamped sentiment.  The banner was run through my Cuttlebug using a new Anna Griffin embossing folder and then I added the doily.

The flags each have some twine tied in the corners.  I. love. twine.

I bought a picture hanger set and clothespins from Home Depot - this seems to be the place to be lately hehe - and wired up my window.  I used mainly black and white photos with the odd coloured picture and I LOVE the way it turned out!!

55 more days until we come home and I can give then BIG hugs- woohoo!

SOAP Day Four! Way to Go!!

Good morning and welcome to the last day of our Stamp of Approval Parade!

Today we are focusing on an older set called Free Spirit Boy! I decided, since it is the time of year, to go with a graduation card!

With some help from Frame-it , I stamped the frame in Evening Shade and then the graduations caps from Free Spirit Boy! The sentiment is from Free Spirit Boy Sentiments.....

I wrapped some twine around the card and added a star and button with a homemade twine tassel hanging off the star!

We hope that you have enjoyed, and have been inspired, the past few days from our Stamp of Approval Parade; highlighting last month’s sets and a fabulous masculine set, Free Spirit Boy set. Now it’s time for you to get your craftiness on as we invite you to participate in a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) competition.

SOAP Day Three!

Good Morning and welcome to Day Three of our Waltzingmouse Soap Parade!

I am actually typing in the dark because both the bulbs in my overhead ceiling light have burnt out and I am too lazy to get a replacement haha! so please forgive the spelling mistakes and (maybe) the shortness of this post!  Isn't that silly??!!

Today's card features "Say It Loud" a fabulous set with large fonts and accompanying smaller sentiments. I have only used one of the larger sentiments for this card but it is totally appropriate and you could certainly use the smaller sentiments on the inside if you so wished.

I stamped the word Baby onto a Spellbinders Classic Oval die and then popped it up onto the Fancy Tags Three die - love those beautiful dies!!

After adhering the patterned paper onto the Kraft cardstock, I ran it through the Cuttlebug machine with my Crafts Too Hearts folder and then popped up the Spellbinders Fancy Tags Three diecut!

Okay that is all for me until I get this light bulb changed - typing in the dark is not that great haha!!

Take a spin around to the other girl's blogs to see what they have been up to - you will love it!!!

SOAP Day Two!

Good Morning and welcome to Day Two of our Waltzingmouse Stamp of Approval Parade or SOAP as we call it!

Today I am focusing on May's releases of  Gingham & Co. and Dainty Doilies Large Set with a performance by the backgrounder Text-it!

I made a little scene with these stamps by creating some "hills" with the backgrounder Gingham & Co. and then the sky with Text-it! The flowers or trees are made with the Dainty Doilies Large and the stems are from Teeny Trees.

I tied some Lilac Baker's Twine around the base of the card to match up with the Text-it backgrounder.

I purposefully did NOT add a sentiment so that I could stamp whatever sentiment I need later- what do you think??

Take a swim around to the other design team member's blogs to see their creations with last month's releases!! I KNOW they will be magic!!

Into the Frying Pan!

This is my second post of the day. If you are looking for the Waltzingmouse Stamps SOAP Parade, please click here!

Well,  WAHOO!! I am so very happy to announce that I'm a Bacon Bit!! and that is to say that I am now officially a member of the Hambo Stamps Design Team aka a Bacon Bit!!

Love these cute little stamps and my word, if a company has "Go ahead, laugh at us!" as a slogan, it must be fun - and so far I am finding out that it is!!

So today is my first official day as a Design Team member, and I am participating in the Hambo Hoedown. I have been in the Hoedown for the last few weeks and I love it!

The image I am using today is the special digi that is being offered free this week from Hambo Stamps if you participated in last week's challenge.

This week the challenge at the Hoedown is BUTTONS! I have no problem using buttons let me tell you - I have a fishbowl/terrarium full of them!

I printed off Strawberry Kid - digi by Hambo Stamps and coloured the bottom half of him up with my copic markers. I printed him off again and coloured up the strawberry, cut it out and popped it up onto the first image.

I used Echo Park Paper as my patterned paper and then added a couple of paper punched pieces, some twine and a big ol' button as per the challenge!!

We would love for you to join us - just use a Hambo Stamps image - rubber or digital, and a button or two and you are in!! Just link up to the Linky thingy on the Hambo Hoedown Challenge blog!

Please take a walk through the other members of the Design Team to see what they have been up to - I know it is something fun!
